Character History:
In the world of Steven Universe, there is an alien race known as Gems which hail from a Gem Homeworld. There, Gems live in a hierarchical society ruled by the Diamond Authority. The Gems maintained an empire of colonies across the universe that existed to drain planets' resources for the production of further Gems, and most planets were ruined by this process. The Diamond Authority was composed of four color-themed Diamonds: White (the leader and most powerful), Yellow, Blue and Pink. Pink was the smallest and most childlike of the group, and she was treated as such. Eventually, she was given her own colony to rule: the planet Earth. But once she got to know the life existing on that planet, she began to sympathize with them. As she could not convince the other Diamonds to cancel the colonization, she opted to take on an alternate identity. In the new form of Rose Quartz, Pink Diamond led a rebellion against herself, and those who followed her were known as the Crystal Gems. The war lasted thousands of years, and it became particularly brutal with the intervention of the other Diamonds, especially after Pink Diamond faked her shattering at Rose Quartz's hands, in order to leave behind her past as Pink Diamond.
Ultimately, the Crystal Gems succeeded in causing Homeworld to retreat, but not without heavy prices. As Homeworld evacuated, the Diamonds caused a mysterious corruption effect to spread across Earth, causing all Gems left on Earth, including Homeworld forces, to be corrupted and transformed into monsters that operated only on animalistic instincts. Rose was only able to protect herself and two of her allies, Pearl and Garnet, from this effect. The Crystal Gems rededicated themselves to defeating and bubbling the corrupted gems, so that they can be isolated until a method could be discovered to cure them. They would also receive one more member in the form of Amethyst, a Gem who did not form until after the war's end.
Thousands of years later, Rose Quartz fell in love with a human musician (a one man band, specifically) named Gregory Universe. They ultimately decided to have a child together. Gems were not made for sexual reproduction, and so the only way Rose could give life to her and Greg's child was to give up her own physical form, which would essentially be like dying. Rose ultimately went through with this, and so as Rose disappeared, a baby came to life in her place, bearing her gem. This baby would be named Steven Quartz Universe, and he would be raised by Greg and the remaining Crystal Gems. Greg looked after him primarily in his infant years, and after that Steven lived in a house that was attached to the Crystal Gems' temple which acted as their headquarters. The Crystal Gems helped to prepare him for life as a gem, but there was not much he could do as his gem was initially dormant, and so he had no powers to train. Because of that and his being just a child, Steven mostly hung around his house and Beach City while the Crystal Gems went off on various adventures without him. He still spent time with his father regularly and received life lessons from him. He also befriended a wide variety of inhabitants of the city and helped them to solve their personal problems on numerous occasions.
Steven stopped physically aging around the age of eight years old. When he was twelve years old, his gem finally had a reaction and produced a shield for the first time while he was eating snacks known as Cookie Cats. He also helped to take on a gem monster for the first time, known as the Centipeedle. As Steven started proving himself, the Crystal Gems finally started taking him along on missions. He messed up a lot and sometimes made problems worse on accident, but he often helped to resolve problems in the end. And as these adventures went on, Steven slowly learned a variety of new powers that helped to shape him into a more capable adventurer. He also gained an unusual pet in the form of Lion, a pink lion that followed him home from a mission. Steven would later discover that Lion had some connection to his mother, and that his mane linked to a pocket dimension in which Rose had stored some objects. This included a heartwarming video message that Rose had left for Steven. Steven also forged a strong friendship with a girl he met, named Connie Maheswaran. Connie was amazed by Steven's magical adventures and helped to introduce him to other worlds of fiction such as Dogcopter and The Spirit Morph Saga. Steven discovered one of his powers by accidentally healing her bad eyesight, and the two of them would also later accidentally fuse together into a being known as Stevonnie, which was the first time a human was able to be involved in a successful fusion. Eventually, Connie started taking swordfighting lessons to be a better help to Steven and became like a backup member of the team. Steven was concerned by some of the lessons in self-sacrifice that Connie was learning from Pearl, and he ultimately convinced Connie that the two of them should fight alongside each other as equals (or 'jam buds', as they put it).
One turning point came when Steven befriended a gem that was trapped in a mirror and set her free, against the warnings of the Crystal Gems. This gem was known as Lapis Lazuli, and she had a grudge against the Crystal Gems. Lapis attempted to steal the entire ocean in order to find a way into outer space, but Steven was able to reach out to her and used his healing power to repair her cracked gem. Once this was accomplished, Lapis thanked Steven and left Earth peacefully. Not long afterwards, the Crystal Gems faced off with a variety of robonoids that were sent from outer space and soon learned that they were being deployed by a Homeworld Gem known as Peridot. Steven attempted to question her in a video call, but to little avail, and in the process Peridot mistakenly believed that Steven's list of his human friends was actually a listing of the different types of human species, something that would come back to bite Steven much later on. With the help of Greg, the Crystal Gems were later able to successfully receive a warning message from Lapis Lazuli and then tried to prepare themselves for the coming of a ship from Homeworld. The Crystal Gems worried for Steven and prioritized his wellbeing, so they tried to send him away to help with Beach City's evacuation while they faced the Homeworld Gems. However, Steven panicked and turned back in order to help the Crystal Gems, and he was successful in using his shield to save them from a beam that was fired from the Homeworld ship.
From the Homeworld ship came three Gems: Peridot was accompanied by a powerful gem named Jasper, and they kept Lapis Lazuli as a prisoner. Steven and the Crystal Gems were all easily defeated by Jasper and taken prisoner. Steven was able to escape from his cell due to being part human and went to save the others, discovering that Garnet was actually a fusion of the gems Ruby and Sapphire in the process, a surprise that Garnet had been saving for Steven's next birthday. Together, Steven and the Crystal Gems were able to defeat their enemies and survive the crashing of the ship. However, Lapis Lazuli refused to be saved by them and was instead convinced to fuse with Jasper. But once Lapis and Jasper became Malachite, Lapis took control and used Malachite's power to imprison the two of them at the bottom of the sea. After the dust of that battle settled, Steven and the Crystal Gems had several new tasks that they worked on: trying to chase down Peridot and trying to find Malachite. Steven eventually started accidentally linking up with Malachite's mind in his dreams, but Lapis ultimately forced him out of the connection. They were eventually able to capture Peridot, and although the other Crystal Gems were set on keeping her bubbled afterwards, Steven was concerned by her last words. So he ultimately opted to free her and convinced the Crystal Gems to let her live in their bathroom. He kept on reaching out to Peridot and eventually convinced her to tell him about the Cluster, a gem bioweapon that posed a threat to the entire planet.
Peridot and the Crystal Gems worked together on a drill to take on the Cluster. During this time period, Steven celebrated his fourteenth birthday and grappled with his insecure feelings about his lack of physical aging. He also went through a period of doubting Peridot and feeling betrayed by her, but ultimately Peridot rejected her Diamond and accepted life with the Crystal Gems. Eventually, the other Crystal Gems set off to fight Malachite, while Steven helped them from afar by possessing a Watermelon Steven that he had created with one of his powers. Malachite was beaten and unfused, but it was discovered that the Cluster was close to completing its formation, and there was no time for the Crystal Gems to return. Because of this, it was up to Steven and Peridot to operate the drill. At the core of the Earth, Steven's mind linked up with the Cluster, and he convinced the countless gem shards that comprised it to bubble themselves instead of completing their formation. This neutralized the Cluster. In the aftermath, Steven was reunited with Lapis Lazuli and ultimately convinced her to give Earth a chance as her new home. He then smoothed over the conflict between her and Peridot so that the two of them could coexist peacefully.
During later adventures, Steven started to learn about the dark side of her mother. First, he accidentally freed a gem that had been bubbled within the pocket dimension in Lion's mane, a gem known as Bismuth. Bismuth rejoined the Crystal Gems at first, but later on she took Steven to see a secret in her underground workshop: the Breaking Point, a weapon that she created with the ability to shatter gems. Steven refused to use it and found out that Rose had refused as well. In fact, Rose fought and bubbled Bismuth over this issue. This caused Bismuth to try to attack Steven, who reluctantly defeated her and bubbled her gem. However, unlike his mother, he came clean to the other Crystal Gems about the truth of what happened with Bismuth.
Not long afterwards, Steven was caught up in a series of conflicts involving Jasper, who had started capturing gem monsters to form into her own army. Amethyst's insecurities were heightened by her clashes with Jasper, and this led to her and Steven having a spar in which both of them related to each other about their personal failings. Neither of them felt that they measured up to the people they were "supposed" to be: Amethyst with Jasper, and Steven with Rose. Steven reached out to Amethyst enough that the two of them were able to fuse together, into a fusion known as Smoky Quartz. Together, they were able to defeat Jasper after she had fused with a gem monster. But in the aftermath of that fusion, Jasper was infected with the corruption and fiercely rejected Steven's desperate attempts to help her. This is because Jasper saw Steven as being Rose Quartz and could not trust him/her, due to what Rose Quartz had done to their shared diamond, Pink Diamond. Jasper was soon fully corrupted, poofed and sealed within a bubble. After returning from that battle, they had to shake off a squad of Ruby officers who had been looking for Jasper. From these Rubies, Steven learned that his mother apparently shattered Pink Diamond and was shellshocked by the news. Pearl and Garnet would ensure him that it was the truth.
Steven and Connie tried training together, but their fused training as Stevonnie was threatened by all of the pain Steven was carrying from his encounters with Bismuth, Jasper, and the Rubies, as well as what he had learned about Rose through all of this. Connie was able to help him to make a step towards accepting what had happened. Later on, Steven met his Uncle Andy for the first time and helped him to accept the changes that had fallen upon his family and his home. Later on, Steven was becoming more desperate to find answers about what happened to Pink Diamond, and his attempt to follow clues with his father caused them to stumble upon Blue Diamond, who abducted Greg to take away to a human zoo. The human zoo was originally created by Pink Diamond in the dead of space as a reserve for Earth's humans. Steven and the Crystal Gems made their way to the human zoo, where Steven infiltrated the zoo and ultimately rescued his father. They returned to Earth, but they soon faced a new threat in the form of a rash of kidnappings taking place around town. The culprits turned out to be a pair of gems named Aquamarine and Topaz, who were rounding up humans for the human zoo. Steven discovered that they were specifically using the list of names that he had given to Peridot long ago, and that guilt led him to give himself up to them. He initially claimed to be the last type of human they were looking for, "My Dad" in order to stage an escape attempt, but when that failed, Steven revealed himself to be Rose Quartz and allowed them to take him to Homeworld to stand trial in exchange for letting everyone else go.
The plan seemed to work, except that Lars was still stuck on the ship with him. Steven was taken to Homeworld regardless and was brought to stand trial before Yellow and Blue Diamond. As the trial ensued, Steven realized that the story behind Pink Diamond's shattering was full of holes, and his lawyer, Blue Zircon, ultimately concluded that Pink Diamond was most likely murdered by someone else, which she concluded must have been one of the other Diamonds. During the chaos that ensued in the wake of that accusation, Lars helped Steven to escape from the Diamonds. They hid underground and met up with a group of misfit gems living in exile, known as the Off-Colors. Together they attempted to evade gem-shattering drones that were hunting them down. Lars was an invaluable ally in this fight due to being fully human and thus invisible to the drones, but he ended up being killed when one of them exploded. Overcome with grief, Steven shed tears that brought Lars back to life - but in a pink state that made him much like Lion. His hair even connected to the same pocket dimension as Lion's! And so Steven was able to return home through Lars's hair, after Lars and the Off-Colors convinced him to leave them behind. Steven returned home and was reunited with everyone.
He was greeted with open arms, but he also found that Connie was upset at him for giving himself up instead of relying on their teamwork. She left with Lion and began avoiding Steven for some time. In the meantime, Steven also faced other trouble, such as Lapis retreating from Earth out of fear of the Diamonds, and Peridot coping with Lapis's absence. Steven was later convinced to attend a party being thrown by Kevin, simply because Kevin claimed that Connie would be there. Connie was indeed there, but Steven made the mistake of listening to Kevin's bad advice and being distant with her. When Connie confronted him, he finally became honest about his feelings, and the two of them finally made up. Shortly afterwards, the two of them traveled to space to meet up with Lars, who was now exploring space with the Off-Colors in a stolen spaceship. As Stevonnie, they helped Lars to defeat Emerald, but they ended up stranded on a jungle moon afterwards. There, they survived in the wilderness and spent the night in an old Diamond base. There, they experienced one of Pink Diamond's memories in the form of a dream. They were then saved and returned home. Steven spent some time unwinding at Beach City afterwards in the wake of those adventures. But the break soon came towards an end when Steven found out that Lapis was on the moon. He went up there and spent some time with her at the old Diamond base. He almost succeeded in convincing her to return to Earth. But he dozed off and experienced more of Pink's memories in a dream. These memories made him think that it was Pearl and not Rose who had shattered Pink Diamond. Steven woke up in a panic, and Lapis misinterpreted him as reporting a threat from the Diamonds, so she fled.
Steven returned to Earth and tried to confront Pearl about the subject of Pink Diamond's shattering, only to find her unable to answer. Pearl ultimately got Steven to enter her mindscape through her gem. There, he traveled through Pearl's memories until he found the truth: that Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond, and that Pearl had helped her to fake the shattering of Pink Diamond. Once he returned from her gem, Amethyst and Garnet overheard him declaring the truth in surprise. Garnet took it particularly hard; she unfused, and Ruby and Sapphire both ended up running away. Steven found each of them and helped them to accept the truth about Rose, while also dealing with he truth himself. Ruby wanted their re-fusion to have a new meaning, so at Steven's suggestion, Ruby proposed to marry Sapphire. Steven then went to work on helping to prepare for the wedding, as he had prepared a scrapbook of wedding ideas since he was very young. He also made the decision to unbubble Bismuth so that she could attend the wedding. He told Bismuth the truth about his mother being Pink Diamond, and the two of them ultimately made peace. The wedding went well, with Steven officiating, and Ruby and Sapphire refused into Garnet. The reception was cut short when Yellow and Blue Diamond staged their attack and attempted to bring the Cluster to life. The Cluster was ultimately able to resist their attacks, and Lapis returned to help them with the battle. Steven tried to tell the truth to the Diamonds in an attempt to get them to stop fighting, only for Yellow to stomp down on him. This caused Steven to be temporarily separated from his body. In this form, he was able to communicate psychically with others - including the Diamonds. This allowed him to successfully reach out to them, and he made them realize that he was Pink Diamond. This caused them to stop their attack.
Steven attempted to explain the whole story to the Diamonds. They had trouble understanding that Steven was a completely separate person from Pink, but they mostly accepted the story and were no longer his enemies. Steven tried to make them undo the corruption, but they found that their combined powers were not enough to permanently cure the corrupted gems. They needed White Diamond, who was feared by even Blue and Yellow. Steven traveled to Homeworld with the Diamonds and most of his friends (the original three Crystal Gems and Connie) in order to meet White Diamond. Once they arrived, White Diamond only spoke briefly to Steven and then imprisoned him in Pink Diamond's old room. He was expected to live the life of Pink Diamond, and White Diamond remained shut off from him. After talking to Blue and Yellow, he figured out that his best bet was to throw a ball like Pink used to, as she was able to make the Diamonds come together as a family. The rules of the Homeworld ball turned out to be oppressingly restrictive, but Steven still went ahead with the plan. Although Blue and Yellow showed up at the ball, White Diamond had a Pearl attend in her place. Disappointed that he still had no way to talk to White, he ended up dancing with Connie and fusing into Stevonnie in front of the whole court. This provoked an outrage from the Diamonds, who had Stevonnie locked away in a tower. The Crystal Gems were also all poofed when they tried to protect them.
Their last hope was the Gems still on Earth: Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot. Steven was able to mentally project his concusiousness all the way back to Earth, where he possessed a Watermelon Steven and successfully sent a warning to Bismuth within the watermelon's last moments. Back on Homeworld, Steven experienced more of Pink's memories and realized how bad her life was with the Diamonds. When Blue Diamond visited them at their cell, Steven told her off for her treatment of Pink and him, and he convinced her to make things better by helping them to escape. Yellow fought Blue when she discovered what she was doing, but ultimately Steven was able to get through to Yellow too. The main obstacle standing in their way was White, who attacked from within her head-ship. The tides started to turn in their favor when Bismuth, Lapis and Peridot arrived, but then things got worse when White Diamond used her powers to take control of both Blue and Yellow. Steven desperately tried to get the Crystal Gems to reform, and he ultimately did so by fusing with each of them. That marked the first time that Steven fused with Pearl (to form Rainbow 2.0) and Garnet (to form Sunstone). The four of them fused together into Obsidian and were able to reach White's head. White Diamond used her powers to take control of the Crystal Gems as well. Steven was ultimately apprehended, and White took his gem out in hopes of releasing the 'real' Pink. However, Steven's gem took on the form of a pink version of Steven, while Steven's human body was quickly dying without his gem. The Pink Steven assured White that Pink/Rose was gone and lashed out at them with their power. Steven ultimately hugged the Pink Steven and reunited with his gem in a process much like fusion. He then managed to make White blush, which caused her to realize that she was not as 'perfect' as she thought. With the conflict with the Diamonds settled, Steven and the Gems returned to Earth, where the Diamonds were able to use their powers to undo the corruption effect.
Over the course of the next two years, Steven spent much of his time helping to set the dismantling of the Diamonds' empire into motion. The Diamonds had come to appreciate Steven as he was and wanted him to stay with them on Homeworld, but he quickly returned home. He was eager to return to his life and resume his "happily ever after". He was reunited with the Crystal Gems, but their idyllic afternoon was interrupted by the approach of an unknown gem, who rode in on a giant injector. The injector started to release a poison that would wipe out all life on the entire planet. The enemy gem managed to out-maneuver them in the following battle, and she wielded a scythe-like weapon called the Rejuvenator. With it, she poofed the Crystal Gems and also struck Steven. Steven then grabbed the weapon and used it to poof her as well. It turned out that the Rejuvenator caused gems to lose their memories and return to their original states. Thus, Steven was losing his powers due to the state that his gem was in, and the Crystal Gems all reformed without any of their old memories. The enemy gem reformed as well, and it turned out that she was Spinel, who who was supposed to act as Pink/Steven's best friend and originally bore only a pure sense of friendship towards Steven. With help from the other gems, Steven realized that the Rejuvenator's effects could be undone by helping the gems to undergo experiences similar to those that helped to shape them in the first place. He began trying to do that for each of the gems, and for one of them, he ended up fusing with his dad to become Steg. However, Steven was becoming increasingly worn due to the state of his gem and kept on pushing himself.
The ultimate key to stopping the injector from destroying the world was to get Spinel to deactivate it, so he had to restore her memories too. They went to a garden where she used to play with Pink Diamond, and he learned Spinel's story as she remembered it. Spinel had been abandoned by Pink after she got her own colony and was tricked into standing still for thousands of years as part of an apparent game. Steven initially convinced her that she could still find friends who could love her. That first attempt to reach out to her initially worked, but it fell apart due to Spinel suspecting that Steven was just using her to deactivate the injector and that he would use the Rejuvenator to wipe her memories again afterwards. This caused the conflict to escalate. Steven realized that by focusing on the idea of a happily ever after, he had forgotten one important part of his development: that he changed with every challenge. Once he acknowledged this and gave up the idea of a happily ever after, he regained his full powers and was finally able to get through to Spinel. The injector was destroyed, and Spinel ultimately went off with the Diamonds. The area was still devastated by the effects of the injector, but Steven quickly got to work trying to kiss every patch of ground better again.
Abilities/Special Powers: Steven happens to be half-gem, and this causes him to have a variety of unique powers and enhanced abilities.
- Shield - This is practically Steven's signature ability and the first one he discovers. It involves conjuring a shield from his gem, and the shield in question seems to vary in size depending on the situation. The shield is very durable and can even block a powerful energy blast fired by a gem spaceship. Its vibrations seem to be potent as well, as they have caused Lapis Lazuli's water constructs to be wiped away. Steven has also been learning how to use a shield efficiently, as he knows how to throw it like a discus and how to use it to make combo moves with Connie and her sword. Over time, he has gotten used to summoning his shield multiple times in a day, though it can sometimes tire him.
- Bubble Shield - This is the ability to create a large pink energy bubble which surrounds Steven and whoever is closest to him. It is like a large hamster ball and has withstood extremes such as ocean pressure and a spaceship crash. It has also developed over time, as it is now able to protrude spikes as a defense mechanism, and Steven can also stretch out parts of the bubble to 'catch' others outside of the bubble.
- Shape Shifting - Like all gems, Steven has the ability to transform into the shape of nearly any living thing or object, but it is the least developed of Steven's powers. His early attempt at trying to turn into a cat went traumatically wrong and out of control, and it ended up turning him into a grotesque mass of cats until he was restored to normal. It has been shown that he has apparently gotten better at shape shifting, at least in terms of stretching out his body parts. Most notably, he managed to shift most of his body (including possibly his vocal chords) in order to look like his actual physical age in "Steven's Birthday", but this strained Steven, as he cannot keep such a thing up for long.
- Age Shifting - This is less of an ability, but it has been shown that Steven's physical age can change based on his mental state. This was primarily shown in the episode "So Many Birthdays", where Steven was disillusioned about the childishness of his birthday celebrations, and his gemstone's reaction to that caused him to become a teenager. As he felt older, he kept on aging to match it until he was elderly enough to be at death's door. They convinced him of the value of being himself in order to revert him back to his original age. In a later episode, he also temporarily reverted into an infant due to his insecurities about not being able to age normally.
- Bubbling - This is an ability that gems seem to universally possess, and it simply entails creating a small, sturdy bubble that can entrap an object inside. It is primarily used as a way to imprison gems, but Steven has even used it as a magical tuperware for snacks such as a bag of potato chips. This ability also involves teleporting the bubble (with its contents) right back to the temple, or wherever the user calls home at the time. In Wonderland, I'm thinking that any bubbles of Steven will be sent to his room.
- Healing Spit/Tears - Steven's equivalent of his mother's healing tears. Essentially, his spit can heal wounds and even fix broken objects. It can also partially undo corruption effects, and his backwash alone was able to cure someone's bad eyesight. It does not always work, however, and it is implied to be linked to his emotional state. It was much later established that Steven's tears can heal too, but they can specifically revive a dead person, and it is not a perfect resurrection: that person is changed to a pink-skinned being with a very slow heartbeat, and their hair or equivalent to hair becomes a portal to a pocket dimension.
- Phytokinesis - Rose had the ability to create sentient plants to fight for her. With Steven's version, combining his spit with watermelon seeds causes the seeds to grow into sentient watermelon creatures that are shaped like Steven and known as Watermelon Stevens. These Watermelon Stevens cannot speak, but they will violently lash out against anything or anyone whom they perceive as harming Steven in any way. Steven has trouble controlling them, and they only listened to him when he lashed out at them in anger. A later episode has shown that they are capable of forming their own peaceful island civilization at least, and that Steven is capable of possessing a Watermelon Steven while his real body is asleep. It seems that this ability can work on most plant life, as he later used it to bring a pumpkin to life, with a very dog-like personality.
- Fusion - Fusion is the ability of two gems to fuse together into a more powerful being, usually in a temporary sense. It usually occurs through some type of a dance and between people who are especially close. Though historically gems have only been able to fuse with other gems, Steven is able to fuse with humans as well as gems. At this point, Steven has shown the ability to fuse to the five people he's closest to: with Connie (to become Stevonnie), Amethyst (Smoky Quartz), Pearl (Rainbow Quartz 2.0), Garnet (Sunstone) and Greg (Steg).
- Empathy/Dream Telepathy - Steven has sometimes been able to sense the emotions of gems, and he also has formed psychic links with others in his dreams, both gems and humans. Most of the time it is involuntary, although he was at one point able to control it enough to enter the dreams of Jenny Pizza multiple nights in a row, and in one case he was able to willingly send his consciousness out across the universe. With this ability, Steven's mental self has ended up entering others' mindscapes and dreams, and he has also possessed one of his Watermelon Stevens and switched bodies with his human friend, Lars.
- Floating - Steven has gained the ability to leap very high into the air and drift down slowly afterwards. This power is specifically linked to his joyful emotions.
- Steven also seems to have some level of augmented strength, although it's mostly been displayed in minor examples, such as lifting a human larger then himself and tearing a vent off of a wall once, as well as tearing off part of an arcade game.
Third-Person Sample:
"Ohhh, I could have sworn it was on that floor..." said Steven with a disappointed sigh as he returned to the stairwell. Returning to Wonderland was somewhat of a disorienting experience. In one sense, it felt like he had just been there. But in another sense, it felt like another lifetime ago. It had been two years for him after all, and remembering the layout of the mansion is like trying to recall a song that you just can't remember the chorus to.
Still, Steven kept on going. "Wait, I think I remember now! It's gotta be two floors down!" He then paused for a moment, for the sake of making sure that there was no one else on the stairs. With that taken care of, he grinned and proceeded to generate a pink bubble surrounding himself. Then he just spread his arms and let himself roll down those stairs. It was an exciting rush! Once he reached the floor in question, he dissipated the bubble and entered the hallway.
Soon, he found his quarry, and a warm smile filled his face. He opened the door to find the music room, filled with all sorts of instruments. They were still there, as if he had never left. He stepped through the room and ran his hands over some of the instruments fondly. If each one could play its own song, it would sing about so many memories. Reaching behind a piano, Steven pulled out an old ukulele. He then settled down and closed his eyes as he started to gently strum the ukulele's notes. A contented smile stretched across the face as he gave a relieved sigh. "Sometimes, life here isn't so bad. Sometimes, it can be like a home away from home..."
First-Person Sample:
[A now teenage Steven beams at the video feed.]
Hey everyone! Steven here. It's been a long time... a really long time for me... but here I am with another un-closeting video! Y'know, like an unboxing video, but with the closets instead.
[He eyes the closet hopefully.]
Today, I wanna see if I can get a GUY out of the closet. They're these toys I used to collect and they're really neat? Okay, check this out! Closet, I'd like a GUY please!!
[He reaches into the closet and pulls out a... Guy Fawkes mask? He looks at in disappointment.]
Aw, this again? I have enough of these to fill up a different closet! [He throws it into a pile of identical masks.]
Eway return: Yes, I would like for him to retain his previous Wonderland memories. He was here under the username of
jamminshield.
Lost memory: He will lost the memory he described in the episode "Onion Trade", of the time that his father bough him a Ranger Guy with a miscolored hat.
